New photos of kitchen remodel
I’ve just updated the photo gallery here with shots I took over the last month during the various stages of our kitchen remodel.
We’re now pretty much at the end of the “cabinet and countertop replacement” stage. My wife has decided to expand this project to give us a tin ceiling and come up with new wallpaper or paint for the walls. After that, we may get one of those rolling “islands”. But my wife’s available money for all of this is dwindling.

I won’t comment on the specifics of the project, but I am fascinated and eager to figure out how I remember your home, David. I saw the pictures and went, “Wow, I remember this place, but how in the world is that possible?” I had to pass it fairly often to remember a home that did not have a personal connection. The last time I drove around those neighborhoods was in 1998, longer than I care to think about.
